The International Theory Competition offers an exclusive 2 Days 1 Night Study Programme, specially designed for students who wish to maximise their competition experience while deepening their understanding of music theory.

Led by experienced educators and theory specialists, the programme combines structured learning, practical application, revision strategies, and motivational activities in an engaging international environment.

ITC 2026 Study Programme Itinerary

Day 1

Morning — Arrival & Free Time Participants arrive in Sunway City and may enjoy free time at Sunway Lagoon or Sunway Pyramid before the programme begins.

Lunch — Optional Participants may have lunch independently or join the optional hotel lunch arrangement.

2:00 PM – 6:00 PM — ITC Theory Workshop & Practice An afternoon dedicated to strengthening music theory knowledge and preparing students for the competition.

The session will include:

Guided music theory workshop
Competition-focused practice
Tips on accuracy and speed
Question-solving techniques
Short refreshment break

7:30 PM – 9:00 PM — ITC Welcome Dinner

A relaxed evening for students, teachers and participants to meet and connect before competition day.

Overnight — Hotel Stay Rest and prepare for the big day ahead.

Day 2

Morning — Breakfast at Hotel Start the day with breakfast before checking out and departing for the competition venue.
